Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee(MPCC) and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, announced a joint protest to RSS headquarters in Nagpur, on Monday, to question why Narendra Modi continues to remain the Prime Minister despite his name allegedly being mentioned in the Epstein file and accusations of compromising with the United States.
Thousands of party workers are expected to participate under the leadership of Congress State President Harshvardhan Sapkal and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi President Adv. Prakash Ambedkar.
The march will proceed from Constitution Square in Nagpur to the headquarters of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
According to information released by the MPPC, details made public by the U.S. The Department of Justice regarding the Epstein file allegedly includes a mention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name. It is also claimed that Union Minister Hardeep Puri’s name has appeared multiple times in connection with the Epstein file.
The statement further alleges that the trade agreement with the United States will cause significant harm to Indian farmers and the agricultural sector. It claims that India has compromised with the U.S., creating an impression that Narendra Modi has mortgaged the country’s sovereignty and self-respect.
Through the Epstein file issue, the Congress alleges that the true nature, conduct, and character of Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party have been exposed. The RSS, described as the ideological parent organization of the BJP and an active participant in the electoral process, is also being questioned.” as per the statement.
The march is being organized to demand answers on why the RSS has continued to support Narendra Modi as Prime Minister despite what the Congress describes as damage to India’s global reputation.
